joe devola (producer of my 1st TV show “the days” got me hired to score this show for NBC. i was sort of half-kidding when i submitted this theme music for the main title sequence. it had been kicking around the offices for long enough that folks started to like it and it was ultimately chosen. i had never tried to write with orchestral sounds and feel like it came naturally to me. what sucked was that i had to score most of this show with sampled instruments due to the time crunches
