the first scene of the this is from the first episode of the days. i had never scored a TV show or really anything before. when the producer joe devola showed up to mix at this huge studio he hadn’t really checked my work and was mortified when he heard my opening music. he had one of his cronies babysit me thru an all-nighter while i re-wrote this opening sequence. it was the worst night of my life turned into the best day of my life when i finally got the big thumbs up from joe. in a few hours i went from being sure i was going to be fired to knowing i was going to rock this series hard. its amazing what you can create at gun point!
